Pakistan’s Finance Minister Dar, Qatari Counterpart Agree on Mutual Cooperation

ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, met with his Qatari counterpart, Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari in Qatar’s capital Doha on Monday. The two ministers agreed on exploring cooperation in the fields of science and technology, agriculture, and education.

The meeting was also attended by Pakistan’s Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Government Effectiveness Dr. Muhammad Jehanzeb Khan, and Ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar Muhemmed Aejaz.

Ishaq Dar congratulates Qatari counterpart on FIFA World Cup 2022 completion

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar congratulated Al Kuwari on the successful completion of FIFA World Cup 2022.

Dar also apprised the Qatari Finance Minister of the details regarding the recovery and rehabilitation efforts following the massive floods in Pakistan.

Discussions during the meeting covered different areas of mutual interest with emphasis on the shared historical and cordial relations.

Ishaq Dar extended an invitation to Al Kuwari to visit Pakistan.
