ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ambassador to France Asim Iftikhar Ahmad on Tuesday held inclusive meeting with the Prefet of the Occitanie Region Pierre-André Durand in Toulouse.
The meeting covered various areas of collaboration, including education, culture, people-to-people contacts, and commerce and industry.
In a separate engagement, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Nabeel Munir addressed students of Sungkyunkkwan University (SKKU)’s Global Environmental Leaders Programme. The discussion focused on climate change, its impact on Pakistan, and Pakistan’s active role in climate change negotiations.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s High Commissioner in Bangladesh Syed Ahmed Maroof convened a meeting with the Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council, Dr. Shaikh Mohammad Bokhtiar. The meeting delved into issues pertaining to the agricultural sectors of both countries.
Adding to the diplomatic activities, Ambassador of Pakistan to Portugal, Ahmad Warraich, visited the Money Museum of the Bank of Portugal. He presented Currency Notes of Pakistan to Vice Governor Luis Maximo dos Santos for inclusion in the museum’s records.
These diplomatic and cultural exchanges underscore the multifaceted engagements between Pakistan and various countries, fostering cooperation and understanding on a global scale.
