Pakistan’s Embassy in France Hosts Multicultural Fashion Show

PARIS: The Embassy of Pakistan in Paris hosted a vibrant multicultural fashion show on Saturday, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and unique fashion scenes of Pakistan, Uzbekistan, the UAE, and the UK. Organized in collaboration with Fashion London, the event aimed to celebrate diversity and foster connections through the universal language of fashion.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to France, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, welcomed a distinguished audience to the event, which featured six dynamic designers known for their international presentations. The runway showcased a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, reflecting the rich textile heritage and craftsmanship of the participating countries.

In his opening remarks, Ambassador Ahmad emphasized the growing importance of fashion as a tool for cultural diplomacy. He noted that such events not only highlight the artistic talents of designers but also serve as a platform for building relationships between nations. “Fashion is more than just clothing; it is a representation of culture, identity, and shared values,” he stated.
