ISLAMABAD: One of the most important questions to be “Which constituency is my vote registered in” as elections will be held in Pakistan on February 8. The Voter registration process occurs within the constituency corresponding to the address on one’s CNIC. After knowing the location of your registered vote, you can easily cast you vote on February 8 polls. To explore your constituency, follow these steps:

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has introduced a text message service for this purpose. Send your National Identity Card (NIC) number (without spaces or dashes) to 8300. Ensure you have sufficient credit. You will receive an updated voter record containing the electoral area name, block code, and serial number.

Alternatively, registered voters can also verify their details by visiting their District Election Commissioner’s office, where the final electoral roll is accessible. This provides another avenue for confirming your particulars before the upcoming elections.
