Initially, according to the original delimitation schedule issued by the ECP on August 17, the initial delimitation process was supposed to be concluded by October 7, with the preliminary proposals for delimitation and the corresponding report set to be published on October 9.
ECP Rescheduled Delimitation Timeline
However, on September 1, the ECP announced a reduction of 14 days in the delimitation timeline, aiming to complete the process by November 30 instead of the originally scheduled date of December 14.

The electoral body will publish the final delimitations on November 30. This adjustment sets the stage for the Election Commission to conduct elections in the last week of January.
It is pertinent to mention here that major political parties in Pakistan, including the Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, have been consistently expressing concerns about the delay in elections and have been advocating for an earlier election schedule to expedite the electoral process.
