ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a series of brief diplomatic engagements with international counterparts on the sidelines of the Sir Bani Yas Forum in the United Arab Emirates, discussing emerging regional and global challenges.
During the interactions, Dar exchanged views with leaders from Europe and the region on international developments, bilateral relations, and prospects for enhanced cooperation, the Foreign Office said.
In a meeting with Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, both sides discussed current global issues of mutual concern.

Dar also met Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot, with discussions focusing on Pakistan–European Union relations and opportunities to further strengthen cooperation.

Dar held talks with Luxembourg’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel, during which they exchanged views on prevailing global challenges. In a separate interaction, Dar met Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, and discussed regional developments and bilateral matters of shared interest.
