ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved the development of the largest IT Park in Pakistan’s federal capital. The IT Park will be constructed in sector G-10 of Islamabad.

Spanning across a plot of 3.3 acres, the park will accommodate approximately five to six thousand freelancers and operate through a public-private partnership model.

Furthermore, provisions will be made within the park for facilities such as a library and a center for showcasing IT products. Private IT firms will have the opportunity to lease spaces within the park to establish their offices.

The officials said that the entire project will be financed by the private sector, with no financial burden on the Pakistani government. After 15 years, the management of the IT Park will be fully transitioned to the CDA.
