Pakistan’s Ambassador to Mongolia Presents Credentials to President Khürelsükh

ULAANBAATAR, Mongolia: In an elegant and impressive ceremony held at the State House in Ulaanbaatar, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, presented his credentials to President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh of Mongolia. The ceremony marked an important milestone in the longstanding and warm relations between Pakistan and Mongolia.

Ambassador Hashmi’s visit to Mongolia includes meetings with various ministerial and deputy ministerial level officials, academia, and businesses, reflecting Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening ties with Mongolia across multiple sectors.

One of the notable highlights of Ambassador Hashmi’s visit was his productive interactions with Ms. Battsetseg Batmunkh, the Foreign Minister of Mongolia, and other senior officials of the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). During these discussions, both sides emphasized the importance of building on their ancient civilizational linkages to foster goodwill among the younger generation of both countries.

Pakistan and Mongolia share a history of warm relations spanning over six decades, characterized by mutual respect, cultural similarities, and robust cooperation at multilateral fora. In recent times, there has been a noticeable increase in bilateral interactions, signifying the deepening of ties between the two nations.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan’s Ambassador to China is also concurrently accredited as Pakistan’s non-resident Ambassador to Mongolia, underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening its ties with Mongolia and deepening cooperation in various fields.
