ISLAMABAD: The Embassy of Indonesia on Tuesday organized an event for the recipients of Indonesian scholarships, including the cultural exchange non-degree program of Dharmasiswa scholarships.
The gathering served as a platform to honor academic excellence and support students in their education journey in Indonesia.
Adam Tugio, Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the scholarship awardees.
Pakistani Students in Indonesian Universities
He said that Pakistan has the highest number of Indonesian scholarships in different categories. Over 140 Pakistani students were provided fully funded scholarships in the world’s top universities in Indonesia.
He added that the deep interest of Pakistani students in continuing their higher studies in Indonesia testifies to the growing academic linkages and spirit of friendship between the two countries.
Addressing the awardees, the diplomat highlighted the importance of Dharmasiswa programs as it provided an excellent opportunity for the students to create a deeper understanding of the rich and diverse culture of Indonesia.
