KARACHI: The Pakistani Rupee is maintaining its stable position against the US dollar from 1 December 2022 and closing at Rs223.69 against the US dollar during interbank trade on Tuesday.
Earlier Thursday, this week the rupee appreciates by 26 Paisas from Rs 223.95 to the current rate at Rs 223.69 against the 1 US dollar on Friday, according to State Bank of Pakistan data.
Meanwhile, the Rupees spot rate was reported to fall by 26 Paisas on Friday.
During interbank trade, this week, the Pakistani Rupee has maintained unstable ups and downs against the US Dollar and from 1 December the Pakistani Rupee fell 26 Paisas to spotting Rs223.69 versus the US dollar.
Pakistani rupee in face of economic uncertainty
The rupee’s decline against the US dollar began on Thursday, this week, following a minor rally the day before.
With economic uncertainty, the rupee has lost five straight sessions in the interbank market but has held within Rs223.
