ISLAMABAD: After witnessing an improvement of over Rs2 last day, the Pakistani Rupee got further strength on Friday while gaining 23 paisa against the US Dollar in the interbank trading as it settled at Rs 286.97 compared to Rs 287.20 last day.
Meanwhile, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the local currency against the greenback also improved a little and were available in the range of Rs 289.5 and Rs 292.5 compared to the last day range of Rs290 and Rs 293.
Pakistani Rupee Against Euro, Pound, and Riyal
Unlike the greenback, the price of the Euro went up by 45 paisa to settle at Rs 313.98 compared to its last-day trading of Rs 313.53.
Like Euro, the Japanese Yen also went up 01 paisa against the local currency to close at Rs 2.01, whereas the British Pound increased to Rs 364.53.
However, the exchange rates of the Saudi Riyal and the Emirates Dirham went down by 06 paisa each to close at Rs 76.48 and Rs 78.12 respectively.
