MELBOURNE: Pakistani squash team has demonstrated exceptional talent by clinching various medals including gold and bronze in the Australia Junior Squash Championship 2024. The event held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre at Albert Park, Victoria, local media reported on Saturday.
The Pakistani players have dominated the game throughout the event culminating in impressive triumphs on the final day of the tournament.
Pakistani Players Secure Medals in Australia Junior Squash
In Boys U-13, Pakistan’s player Huzaifa Shahid defeated Australian player Gng Hung Yu by 3-0.
In Boys U-15, Pakistani player Yahya Khan triumphed over Australian Henry Kross by 3-0.
In U-17 Boys, Ibrahim Zeb of Pakistan has secured win against New Zealand’s Brodie Bennett by 3-0.
In U-13 Girls, Mahnoor Ali of Pakistan outshined Malaysia’s Emily by 3-0.
In U-17 Girls, Pakistan’s Mehwish emerged victorious over Malaysian Erin Wyllie by 3-2.
On the other hand, Harmas Ali Raja has claimed bronze medal in U-11 category while Fawad Khan in U13 and Azaan Ali Khan in U15 further highlighting Pakistan’s triumph in the championship.
