ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Hajj mission on Monday lauded the authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for making exemplary arrangements for the annual Hajj, after all Pakistani Hajj pilgrims arrived in Mina at Mount Arafat.
“All Pakistani pilgrims on Monday reached Mina via buses where they would stay in the allotted camps tonight,” Mohammed Umer Butt, a spokesman for the Pakistani Religious Affairs Ministry, told Arab media on phone from Mina.

He said that this year, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has made excellent arrangements and also enhanced facilities in camps, particularly improved air conditioning. The Saudi officials had also set up two major hospitals, while dispensaries have been established for Hajj pilgrims in every camp street in Mina, the spokesman maintained.
According to Arab News, the Pakistani Hajj mission had also set up a Main Control Office in Mina to ease and facilitate Pakistani Hajj pilgrims. The spokesperson said that as many as 81,500 Pakistani pilgrims have arrived in the Kingdom as per the government scheme. An information cell has been established within the Main Control Office to make sure smooth flow of information, Pakistani authorities said.
