Pakistani Fruits, Vegetable Export to China Crosses $54mln

BEIJING: Pakistani export to China is showing promising progress, as the country’s vegetables and fruits export to Chinese markets reached over 54.34 million US dollars. Pakistani fruits and vegetable exports to China have witnessed a huge increase during the month of January-September year-on-year. This was revealed from the data released by the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC).

GACC states that imports of dried vegetables amounted to 6.17 million US dollars. Imports of dried vegetables are totaling over 4,040 tons in the period from January to September.

Pakistani fruit and vegetable exporter, Ahmad Raza said the high demand for Pakistani vegetables and fruits in the Chinese market has provided an important opportunity for Pakistani traders to soar their exports.

He said that the people of China like Pakistani vegetables and fruits as Pakistani fruits and vegetables match their taste standards. If we enhance the techniques used by China to offer high-end products, the export value will increase,” he added. APP
