RAWALPINDI: On night 1/2 and 2/3 July 2025, movement of a large group of khwarij, belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij, who were trying to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, was detected by the security forces in general area Hassan Khel, North Waziristan District.
A statement issued by Pakistan military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said: “Own troops effectively engaged and thwarted Indian-sponsored Khawarij’s attempt to infiltrate. As a result of precise and skillful engagement, all 30 Indian-sponsored khawarij were “sent to hell”.”

A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives was also recovered from the killed Indian-sponsored Khawarij, it added.
Exceptional professionalism
The statement said Pakistani security forces demonstrated exceptional professionalism, vigilance and preparedness, and prevented a potential catastrophe.
The Interim Afghan Government also needs to check and prevent the use of Afghan soil by “foreign proxies” for orchestrating terrorist activities against Pakistan, it added.
