Pakistani Celebrities Urges Citizens to Vote on February 8

ISLAMABAD: As the election date knocking at the door, numerous celebrities and influential figures are using their social media platforms to urge their followers to actively participate in the democratic process by casting their votes on Feb 8.

In a message shared on her social media platforms X, famous actress, Urwa Hussain emphasized the importance of citizens exercising their right to vote, stating, “To all my followers, please vote tomorrow, it’s our responsibility as citizens of this country to contribute to the decisions made about her. Democracy must, must, must sustain and that can only happen if WE VOTE.”

Renowned singer Farhan Saeed also urged citizens, “Pakistan, step forward and cast your vote on the 8th. If you feel injustice, vote! If you envision progress for your nation, vote! If you seek the right leadership for the country, vote! Throughout the year, Pakistan yearned for this fundamental right to vote. Now, it’s time to exercise it!”

In a comprehensive video shared on Instagram, Bushra Ansari addressed the prevailing chaos in the country as the elections draw near. Expressing a collective desire for a brighter future for Pakistan, Ansari emphasized the importance of electing a political party that will steer the nation toward prosperity over the next five years.

Encouraging active participation in the electoral process, Ansari urged viewers to support the candidate they trust and believe in. Emphasizing the significance of action over mere rhetoric, she urged citizens to familiarize themselves with their constituency, identify their candidate’s symbol, and exercise their right to vote.
