ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actress Hania Amir has expressed solidarity with the people of Gaza at the Awards ceremony after securing the award for “Most Stylish Actress.”
The impressive award ceremony was held on May 11, attended by renowned artists from the film, drama and fashion industries.
At the event, actress Hania Amir was honoured with the award for the “Most Stylish Actress on Television”. The stylish actress called for a truce in the Gaza strip, expressing solidarity with the people of Palestine when she took the stage to receive her award.
Hania Amir said that this is an important platform for all of them where they can raise their voice in support of people of Palestine. She asked people to speak up for Gazans via their platforms and also make their voices heard across the world. Hania Amir also expressed her wish for the hashtag #CeasefireNow# to continue trending on social media platforms, encouraging everyone to play their role. She demanded a truce in the Gaza Strip.
According to Gaza Health Ministry, more than 35,034 people have been killed and over 78,755 wounded in Israeli brutal strikes on Gaza since Oct. 7.
