ISLAMABAD: Renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan surprised her fans with a spontaneous question-and-answer session on X (formerly Twitter) using the hashtag #AskMahira, where she shared personal insights and reflections.
Mahira Khan, known as the “Queen of Hearts” in Pakistan, kicked off the session by responding to a fan’s message expressing their longing for her presence on screen. “Oh I miss everyone so much. And being on screen too!” she replied.
When asked about her favorite Pakistani actresses, the Bin Roye star praised several of her peers, including Yumna Zaidi, Sajal Aly, Hania Amir, Kubra Khan, Mawra Hocane, Sehar Khan, and Sabeena Farooq.
“Man, everyone is so good. Right now on TV—Yumna, Sajal, Hania, Kubra, Mawra, Sehar, Sabeena, naeema… and many more… endless list!” she enthused.
One of the standout moments of the session came when a fan inquired about her experience working with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on the film Raees. Mahira Khan recalled his advice to her: “’Give happiness a chance, baby’ :)”
In response to a question about her son, Azlaan, she playfully mentioned, “My Azzu is too cool for his mama — kidding! No, my love, he is back home. He has school—a big year. Keep him in your prayers,” reflecting her dedication as a mother while navigating her busy career.
Mahira Khan was also asked about her favorite co-actors, both male and female. She expressed admiration for many, but specifically highlighted her recent collaboration with Ahmed Ali Akbar.
“So many… but I’ll tell you, I really enjoyed Ahmed Ali Akbar just now!” she said.
