ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actor Azfar Rehman has shared his profound sadness and distress over the continued brutality in Gaza, marking 100 days of devastation caused by the Israeli forces. In an Instagram post, the actor posted a picture reflecting his somber mood.

“100 days of devastation… My heart bleeds,” expressed Azfar Rehman in the caption of his post.

The actor’s emotional response to the prolonged conflict garnered supportive comments from fans who expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine. Many called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, highlighting the humanitarian crisis and the impact on the lives of the residents.

The Gaza war, which has been ongoing for over 100 days, has resulted in a significant loss of life, with more than 24,285 people, mostly women and children, killed since October 7. Additionally, over 60,000 persons have sustained injuries during the conflict. The United Nations describes the situation in Gaza as a humanitarian catastrophe, affecting the lives of 2.4 million people.

Roughly 85 percent of the territory’s population has been displaced, seeking refuge in crowded shelters and facing challenges in accessing essential resources such as food, water, fuel, and medical care.
