Pakistan’s Women Police Contributions
In an interview with a private TV channel, she dedicated her award to the victims of gender discrimination and the resilient women police officers who carry out their duties under challenging circumstances. She emphasized the tireless efforts of female police officers in maintaining peace and security.
Khan underscored her approach of always respecting cultural values and sensitivities in her work, which has contributed to an increase in the reporting of crimes against women. She noted a positive shift in the attitude of women in the remote Battagram district, where she currently serves as DPO, who are now more willing to seek police assistance compared to the past.
