RAWALPINDI: Pakistan made history by winning gold medal for the first time in the International Long Range Rifle Championship held in England.
The top two positions in the European Long Range Championship 2023, were secured by Pakistan.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has announced that Lt. Col. Junaid Ali of the Pakistan Army won the gold medal.
Additionally, Lt. Gen. Ahsan Gulriz and Col. Junaid Waqas won silver medals in this prestigious championship.
It is pertinent to note the Pakistani team made its debut appearance in the European Long Range Championship, marking a significant moment in the nation’s sporting history. The event attracted over 80 shooters from 12 countries around the world.
