LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) signed the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 hosting rights deal with the International Cricket Council in Dubai on Friday, the cricket body statement said.

According to a press statement issued by PCB, Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Zaka Ashraf was joined by ICC General Counsel Jonathan Hall in the signing of the hosting rights to Pakistan at the International Cricket Council headquarters.

The statement maintained that the Pakistan Cricket Board in its capacity has already hinted the government to provide foolproof security to visiting international players and teams for the ICC Champions Trophy.
According to PCB, Pakistan’s caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in a recent meeting with Zaka Ashraf assured the law enforcing agencies cooperation in the successful hosting of the mega event.
