LAHORE: Gary Kirsten, head coach of Pakistan’s white ball cricket team, has reportedly tendered resignation, local media reported on Monday.
According to the media reports, the development took place after the news of disagreements between Gary Kirsten and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over selection of team, central contracts, and other operational matters.
Local media claimed that escalating differences with PCB management prompted Kirsten’s decision to tender resignation.
The head coach and PCB reportedly clashed on the approach to the central contract policies, which have been a topic of contention within the board. However, PCB has not yet issued any statement over the recent development.
