ISLAMABAD: The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Zahid Akram Durrani, has felicitated the government and people of Azerbaijan on their National Day. He expressed the statement during a function in connection with the National Day of Azerbaijan, which was held in Islamabad.
Pakistan Wants to Further Enhance Ties with Azerbaijan: Parliamentarian
He said that Pakistan and Azerbaijan are enjoying cordial brotherly, friendly, and historical relations. The Deputy Speaker said that Pakistan attached high importance to its relations with Azerbaijan. He said that Pakistan wants to further enhance its ties with the parliamentarians and people of Azerbaijan. He maintained that Pakistan and Azerbaijan have same position over regional and global issues.
On the occasion, the deputy speaker expressed good wishes for the progress and prosperity of Azerbaijan. The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly also witnessed the cake-cutting ceremony in connection with the National Day of Azerbaijan.
