ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday reiterated that Pakistan wanted friendly relations with all countries, based on national interest.
Addressing a press conference here in Islamabad, he said Pakistan has faced many challenges including security and financial problems but it always dealt with them successfully.
He said that under the leadership of prime minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan has obtained many achievements on the external front. “When I took the charge as foreign minister six months back, Pakistan was facing many challenges but now we have come out of the FATF grey list and have worked on anti-money laundering and terror financing issues”, he said.

FM Bilawal Says Pakistan and US Enjoys Historic Relations
Highlighting Pak-US relations, the foreign minister said that both countries have historic relations. “Our relations always based on security and defence matters but now we are expanding it to economic and commercial ties”, he said.
He added that Pakistan always valued its relations with China and both are time-tested friends. The government is working to further expand bilateral relations with China and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is playing an important role in this regard.
