ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has strongly condemned Israel’s escalating actions in the Middle East, stating that “such actions jeopardize regional peace and threaten global security.”

He expressed deep sorrow over the ongoing loss of innocent civilian lives, including women and children, resulting from Israeli military operations in Gaza and Lebanon. “This increasing Israeli adventurism is a blatant violation of human rights and a direct threat to the stability and peace of the Middle East,” he remarked in a statement on Monday.

Speaker Sadiq lamented the silence of nations that claim to uphold democracy, justice, and human rights, calling it disheartening. He urged the international community, including the United Nations, human rights organizations, and global powers, to take immediate notice of the situation and intervene to halt Israel’s continued brutality. He also extended his condolences to the people of Lebanon who have suffered losses.

Reiterating Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of Gaza and Lebanon, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq affirmed that Pakistan will continue to advocate for the protection of human rights and the restoration of peace in the region.
