Pakistan University to Organise Global Conference on Health

ISLAMABAD: In order to share knowledge and experience with the world, several Pakistani universities are doing their best to contribute in the field of health and medical science. In this connection, Hamdard University Islamabad, is going to organize the 1st International Conference on Health Sciences, focusing on “Innovation and Resilience in Healthcare System Sustainability; Insights from Eastern Medicine, Nutritional and Pharmaceutical Sciences.” The conference is scheduled on February 14 and 15, 2024, and is being led by the Faculty of Eastern Medicine.

This conference endeavours to create a forum where scholars, researchers, and practitioners from various fields can share perspectives, exchange knowledge, and cultivate partnerships in the crucial domains of health sciences.

Emphasizing innovation and resilience, the conference will explore into the intersections of Eastern Medicine, Nutritional Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Sciences, shedding light on inventive approaches to tackle contemporary health challenges.

Exploring pivotal research areas in health sciences, the conference will cover topics such as metabolic disorders (diabetes and obesity), cancer, infectious and non-infectious diseases, advancements in pharmaceutical sciences, and environmentally sustainable practices in the medical industry.

Health experts will highlight Pakistan’s healthcare strengths, particularly the skilled health professionals, paramedics, who hold huge potential to make Pakistan a medical destination of international status.
