ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) has issued Paigham-e-Pakistan code of conduct to ensure peace, and law and order during the holy month of Muharram with the coordination of leading scholars belonging to all religious schools of thought.
According to The News International, in the chair of Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, chairman PUC and president International Interfaith Harmony Council, the leadership of different religious schools of thought issued the Paigham-e-Pakistan code of conduct.

The Ulema and Mashaykh from all religious schools of thought have agreed to follow the code of conduct to ensure peace and religious harmony during Muharram. They said that any individual violating the code of conduct will not be supported at any forum.
The meeting was attended by leading scholars from across the country.
