They expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions and stressed the urgent need to support efforts to ensure regional peace and stability.
Meanwhile, Arab and Muslim nations, including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt, jointly issued a statement condemning Israel’s recent military actions against Iran and calling for immediate de-escalation.
The joint statement, released by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, comes in response to Israel’s attacks on Iran that began on 13 June 2025.
The foreign ministers of the participating states “categorically rejected and condemned” the strikes, stressing that such actions violate international law and the UN Charter.
The statement reaffirmed the importance of respecting state sovereignty, peaceful dispute resolution, and the principles of good neighbourliness.
Israel’s strikes have so far killed at least 224 people, including top military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians, according to Iranian authorities.
