Pakistan, UAE Discuss Gaza Situation Amid Israeli Violence

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani telephoned to United Arab Emirate (UAE) counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed on Saturday and discussed the escalating crisis in Gaza, Palestine.

Their discussions centered on the immediate imperative of ending hostilities and safeguarding the well-being of civilians in the region. Both ministers also underscored the importance of a unified and coordinated approach.

Taking to X, formally known as Twitter, the caretaker foreign minister posted that he received a call from his counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, the Foreign Minister of the UAE. “We deliberated on the escalating situation in Gaza,” said Foreign Minister in his X post. He further said in his post that the urgent necessity to halt hostilities and the protection of civilian lives was discussed in the telephone conversation. They emphasized the significance of a joint response.
