ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Turkiye enjoy close relations, and the latter is keen to increase bilateral trade with the earlier at least up to 5 billion US dollars in the coming years, Turkish Ambassador Dr Mehmet Pacaci said on Saturday.
While speaking at a function of the business community in Islamabad, the Turkish Ambassador said that his government has assigned him to work to increase the bilateral trade volume between Pakistan and Turkiye to the tune of 5 billion US dollars in three years. He said that both Islamic countries have the potential to boost their bilateral trade more than this target.
The Ambassador said that his government wishes to increase cooperation with Islamabad in industry, trade, investment, health, education, and other areas.
He urged the Pakistani and Turkish entrepreneurs to work hard and jointly expand bilateral trade and economic relations. APP
