ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has lauded the role of Turkey in achieving “the Sea Grain Corridor deal in 2022, “which has played a key role in stabilizing world food prices”. As per media reports, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has phoned Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and commended Ankara’s role in achieving the Sea Grain Corridor agreement in 2022.
In a statement via his social media account, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister wrote, “ Spoke to my brother FM of Turkey Hakan Fidan today. Commended Turkey’s role in achieving the landmark Black Sea Grain Corridor agreement in 2022, which has played a significant role in stabilizing global food prices, especially in developing countries”.

The Foreign Minister further added, “Extended Pakistan’s full support to international efforts in reviving the agreement.”
He further wrote, “Expressed the strongest condemnation of acts of desecration of the Holy Quran in several European cities and resolved to work with Turkey and other Islamic states to prevent such incidents”.
