LAHORE: The All Pakistan Transport Association will hold a nationwide protest on Wednesday against what it describes as unjust behavior by the Motorway Police.

Sheikh Amir Randeem, chairman of the association, highlighted grievances including hefty fines and unjustified cases filed against transporters.

The protest, scheduled for tomorrow at 10 am in Thokar Niaz Baig, aims to peacefully address these concerns.

Sheikh Amir criticized what he deemed unlawful fines and FIRs issued by the Motorway Police, particularly condemning restrictions on vehicle movement after 10 pm as excessively harsh. He emphasized that the protest will persist until the transporters’ grievances are redressed and justice is achieved.
