In a briefing on relief activities, it was reported that supplies, including winter tents, clothing, blankets, medicines, and food, are being dispatched to those affected by the ongoing violence in Gaza and Lebanon. The meeting noted that Israeli attacks and the blockade are hindering the delivery of aid to these areas.
The government also plans to assist NGOs wishing to send relief supplies to Gaza and Lebanon. Federal ministers, including Ahsan Iqbal, Ahad Khan Cheema, and Attaullah Tarar, as well as Minister of State Shiza Fatima Khawaja, Special Assistant to the PM Tariq Fatemi, and senior officials from the Higher Education Commission and National Disaster Management Authority, attended the meeting.
