KARACHI: The third match of the Tri-Nation One Day International (ODI) Series will be played between Pakistan and South Africa in Karachi on Wednesday. The match between the two nations will start at 2:00 pm on Wednesday.
Earlier, in Lahore, a masterful century by Kane Williamson powered New Zealand to a six-wicket victory over South Africa in the second match of the Tri-Nation Series at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Monday, qualifying for the final of the tournament.
Chasing a challenging target of 305, the Black Caps reached the total in the 49th over with eight balls to spare, thanks to Williamson’s unbeaten 133 and Devon Conway’s composed 97-run knock.
Similarly, earlier, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 78 runs in the opening match of the tri-nation ODI series at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Saturday. Despite a fighting half-century from Fakhar Zaman, the home side failed to chase the imposing 331-run target and was bowled out for 252 in 47.5 overs.

Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced the grand inauguration of Karachi’s National Stadium on February 11.
The announcement was made through PCB chairman Naqvi’s social media account, where he promised a night filled with entertainment, music, and dazzling fireworks.
He said Pakistan’s renowned singers Ali Zafar, Shafqat Amanat Ali, and Sahir Ali Bagga will perform at the ceremony.
“Get ready for another unforgettable night!” he said in a post on X. “Plus, a breathtaking fireworks & light show to light up the sky!” he further said.
He also shared a transformation video of the stadium, highlighting the extensive renovations and improvements made to the iconic venue.
