ISLAMABAD: The semi-final of the Men’s Under-18 Asia Cup hockey tournament will be played between Pakistan and Malaysia at Dazhao in China on Friday (tomorrow).
Radio Pakistan reported that the match will start at 2:30 pm.
Earlier, Pakistan beat hosts China 2-1 to qualify for the semi-final of the U-18 Asia Cup in Dazhou on Wednesday.
With this victory, Pakistan ended the pool stage of the 11-nation event unbeaten.
“11-nation tournament”
Pakistan took lead through Hassan Shehbazm, who scored a field goal in the 11th minute while Ali Hanzala scored in another field attempt in the 43rd minute.
The 11-nation tournament is being held in Dazhou, China from July 3 to 13.
Pakistan, China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong China, Malaysia, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan take part in the U18 Asia Cup.
