ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony ministry is gearing up to host the 48th two-day International Seerat-un-Nabi (Life of the Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him) conference on September 28th and 29th in the country’s capital, Islamabad.
This conference will include the recognition of outstanding contributions in the form of awards for Seerat-related articles and books. The theme for this year’s competition is “Practical Wisdom for Economic Prosperity in Light of the Life of the Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him.”
It’s worth noting that all submitted articles and books undergo a rigorous review process by a committee comprising at least three experts, including professors holding Ph.D. degrees. Their evaluations are then forwarded to a high-level apex committee responsible for the final selection of deserving publications.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony intends to publish and distribute standard articles to university libraries nationwide and research institutions specializing in Seerat-un-Nabi, Peace Be Upon Him.
The International Seerat-un-Nabi Conference comprises two main sessions:
The first session will be dedicated to honoring authors and poets who participated in the Seerat-related competition.

The conference aims to bring together distinguished religious scholars, both domestic and international, to bridge intellectual divides and foster understanding among scholars. It is expected to have a positive impact on religious harmony and moral values. Additionally, a Naat (eulogy) gathering will take place during the opening session to celebrate the beloved Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him.
The second day of the conference will shed light on various aspects of the Prophet’s life, with scholars and orators examining topics such as economic stability, the role of the state, charity, and women’s involvement in economic growth—all in the context of Seerat-un-Nabi, Peace Be Upon Him.
