ISLAMABAD: Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated with religious fervor across Pakistan on Thursday in order to commemorate the great sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismael (AS).
The Eid day will dawn with special prayers in mosques for prosperity, progress, and security of the nation and well-being of Ummah. Eid prayers’ congregations will be held at Eidgahs and mosques in all cities, and villages.
Pakistan to Celebrates Eid-ul-Azha on Thursday
Ulema will highlight the importance of the philosophy of great sacrifice rendered by Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail (AS) in their Eid sermons. After Eid prayers, citizens will offer sacrifice of animals to follow the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS).
On the auspicious occasion of Eid, Pakistan Television, Radio Pakistan, and private channel will air special programmes regarding Eid-ul-Azha while print media will also publish special supplements highlighting the significance of Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Eid-ul-Azha.
Meanwhile, the sale and purchase of sacrificial animals across Pakistan has reached its zenith and people took a strong interest in buying sacrificial animals. People visited animal markets to get the animals of their choice well.
Youngsters especially children are enjoying their best time while enjoying at the animal market and they also are decorating the sacrificial animals with sterling bands, colorful garlands, embellished belts, and crowns.
