ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 trophy arrived in Quetta on Sunday to a warm and festive welcome by cricket lovers and enthusiasts from across the city.

Dawn news reported that the trophy was brought from Quetta International Airport and escorted to the city centre, where cricket fans and lovers showered rose petals on it and posed for selfies alongside officials.

The newspaper reported that an official unveiling ceremony was also held in front of the Balochistan Assembly, attended by international cricketer from the province Haseebullah Khan, city Assistant Commissioner Hamza Anjum, and representatives from the Balochistan Sports Department.

A star-studded commentary team

The officials expressed their delight at the enthusiastic turnout and described it as a reflection of Balochistan’s enduring passion for cricket and sports in general.

Earlier on Sunday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a star-studded commentary team for the 10th edition of the PSL, which is scheduled to begin on Friday, April 11.

The event will open with a match between defending champions Islamabad United and two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The tournament will showcase six competing teams.
