ISLAMABAD: The 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Friday shed 107.34 points, a negative change of 0.22 percent, closing at 48,218.50 points against 48,325.84 points as compared to the previous day.

333 firms transacted their shares in the market; 126 of them reported gains whole 186 sustained losses, whereas the share price of twenty-one firms remained unchanged.
The three top-trading firms were WorldCall Telecom, Pak Petroleum and Oil and Gas Dev, APP reported.
Rafhan Maize also witnessed a maximum surge of Rs 140.70 per share price, closing at Rs 8,587.50, whereas the runner-up was Nestle Pakistan, with an Rs 100.00 increase in its per share price to Rs 7,400.00.
