ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Stock Exchange 100-index witnessed a bullish trend on Thursday, rising 364.33 points, with a positive change of 0.89%, closing at 41,463.91 against 41,099.58 points on Wednesday.
A total of 169,105,056 shares were traded in comparison to 186,900,702 shares the previous day, while the price of shares stood at 6.248 billion rupees against 5.781 billion rupees on the last trading day. In total, 353 companies transacted shares in the market; 178 of them witnessed gains and 148 suffered with losses, whereas the share price of twenty-seven companies remained unchanged.
The 3 top-trading companies were Bank Al-Falah with 14,264,424 shares at 29.46 rupees per share, Maple Leaf with 7,275,458 shares at 27.61 rupee per share, and Pak Refinery with 6,884,986 shares at 13.91 rupees per share.
Nestle in Pakistan Stock Exchange
Nestle Pakistan XD recorded a maximum increase of 133.98 rupees per share price, closing at 5333.98 rupees, whereas the runner-up was Sapphire Fiber with 72.78 rupees rise in its per share price to 1043.29 rupees.
