ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and Republic of Korea’s Foreign Minister Park Jin have pledged to enhance cooperation in various fields, emphasizing the significant potential for future collaboration in politics, economics, culture, and people-to-people connections.
On Tuesday, Pakistan and South Korea celebrated the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. To mark this significant occasion, Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and Republic of Korea’s Foreign Minister Park Jin exchanged messages of congratulations through diplomatic channels, said the Foreign Office Spokesperson in a press release.
The relationship between Pakistan and the Republic of Korea has been characterized by warmth and openness, and it has been marked by mutually beneficial collaboration in various fields.
Foreign Minister Jilani and Foreign Minister Park revisited the rich history of Pakistan-ROK relations, emphasizing their socio-cultural bonds, developmental and economic partnerships, and the valuable contributions made by their respective diasporas, which have served as a bridge of friendship between the two nations.
