ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan and South African cricket teams arrived in Rawalpindi on Friday for the second and final Test of the series, set to begin at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on October 20, 2025. The teams were greeted warmly at the airport, where each player and official was presented with a traditional shawl in a gesture of hospitality.

Both sides will hold practice sessions on Saturday and sunday before the action begins monday morning at 10 a.m. Pakistan, who lead the two-match Test series 1–0, are expected to retain an unchanged playing XI, with a spin-friendly track already prepared at the venue.
Meanwhile, the Rawalpindi Traffic Police have announced a comprehensive traffic management plan to ensure smooth movement during the five-day contest. City Traffic Officer (CTO) Farhan Aslam said more than 367 traffic wardens and officers will be deployed around the stadium, supported by diversion points to ease congestion.

Traffic from Islamabad will be redirected via Faizabad to the Expressway, while vehicles from Rawalpindi to Islamabad will use 6th Road and Saidpur Road. Stadium Road—from 9th Avenue Chowk to Double Road—will remain closed to general traffic during match hours.
To assist fans, parking will be available at Civil Aviation Ground, Shahbaz Sharif Park, and Government Graduate College Satellite Town, with shuttle services arranged for convenient access to the stadium.
