RIYADH: Pakistan is drawing global attention to its mineral wealth at the Future Minerals Forum (FMF) 2026 in Riyadh, with its pavilion—dubbed “The Mineral Marvel”—highlighted by Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources as one of the most visually impactful at the event.

Ahead of the official opening, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, H.E. Bandar Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, has praised Pakistan’s presence at the event, describing the Pakistan Pavilion as one of the most visually impactful features of the forum.

The Pakistan Pavilion, themed “The Mineral Marvel,” has drawn strong interest from global investors attending the forum. It highlights Pakistan’s mineral wealth and reform agenda through modern, interactive displays designed to encourage partnerships and investment in the country’s mining sector.

The minister, accompanied by H.E. Eng. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, Vice Minister for Mining Affairs, visited the pavilion and noted its significant improvement compared to previous editions.

He described it as a premier platform for engagement by the global mining community, reflecting Pakistan’s growing focus on showcasing its mineral potential to international stakeholders.

The Pakistan Pavilion, themed “The Mineral Marvel,” has drawn strong interest from global investors attending the forum. It highlights Pakistan’s mineral wealth and reform agenda through modern, interactive displays designed to encourage partnerships and investment in the country’s mining sector.

The pavilion has been organised by Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) as the Lead Partner, on behalf of the Ministry of Energy, underscoring the government’s commitment to promoting Pakistan’s mineral resources on an international stage.

A key feature of the pavilion is the launch of the National Minerals Data Center, a digital portal aimed at modernising mineral governance in Pakistan. The platform is designed to improve transparency, streamline data access, and facilitate informed decision-making for investors and policymakers.

The Future Minerals Forum brings together ministers, industry leaders, investors and experts from around the world to discuss sustainable development, supply chains and investment opportunities in the minerals and mining sector.
