BEIJING: Sardar Muhammad, Acting Consul General of the Pakistan Consulate in Guangzhou, China, embarked on a three-day visit to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, where he attended the 12th China-ASEAN Mining Cooperation Forum and Exhibition. As part of his visit, he also engaged with leaders of business organisations in the region.
During his trip, the Consul General had the opportunity to visit the Pakistan Pavilion, which showcased a diverse range of high quality products, including leather goods, textiles, handicrafts, and food items.
He expressed his delight at witnessing the exceptional quality of Pakistani products on display at the exhibition. In addition, he engaged in detailed discussions with Ms. Zhao, Chairperson of the China-ASEAN Commodity Convergence Centre, regarding measures to further enhance Pakistan’s participation in CAMEX and strategies to improve the marketing of Pakistani products.
Investment Opportunities Between Pakistan and Guangxi, China
The Consul General held multiple meetings with various dignitaries to explore investment opportunities between Guangxi Zhuang and Pakistan. During his interaction with Liao Pinhu, Vice Governor of the region, both officials discussed mutual areas of interest, including cooperation in the mining sector.
Sardar Muhammad also visited the head office of the Royal Group Corporation Limited, where he met with Vice Chairman Haiyan and Vice President Ms. Teng Cuijin. They exchanged views on the Group’s projects in Pakistan and its plans for future investments in the country.
