DOHA, Qatar: Pakistan Shaheens delivered a commanding all-round performance to crush India A by eight wickets in their Asia Cup Rising Stars Group B clash on Sunday, chasing down 137 with remarkable ease and 40 balls to spare.
India A, sent in to bat, posted a modest 136 in 19 overs despite a fiery start from Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who smashed 45 off 28 balls.
Naman Dhir added a brisk 35, but regular strikes from the Shaheens’ bowlers halted any chance of momentum.
Shahid Aziz stood out with 3 for 24, while Saad Masood and Maaz Sadaqat chipped in with two wickets apiece, tightening the screws through the middle overs.
