ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik said on Thursday that Pakistan has signed an agreement to buy oil from Russia and that the country will start receiving oil at discounted rates from March.
Oil, gas at discounted rate to be available in country before next winter
He said oil and gas will be available in the country at discounted rates before the next winter.
The Minister of State added that the government was working to strengthen the economy and reduce inflation.
He further said that efforts were also underway to reduce the gap between the dollar and rupee.
The minister said that there were a large number of reserves of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) in the country.
