ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s security forces killed at least 37 terrorists while foiling coordinated attacks at 12 locations across Balochistan, security sources said on Saturday.
Ten personnel of the security forces and police were martyred while fighting bravely during the counter-terrorism operations, the sources said, adding that the swift and coordinated response prevented further casualties and damage.
Security officials said pursuit and clearance operations are continuing at multiple sites, supported by aerial surveillance, with additional losses reported among the terrorists.
Over the past 48 hours, law enforcement agencies have killed a further 41 terrorists linked to the same group in separate operations across the province.
In follow-up actions, the total number of terrorists killed has reached 58, according to security sources.

The attacks also claimed civilian lives. Five members of a Baloch labourer family from Khuzdar were killed in Gwadar, including a woman and three children, after terrorists targeted non-combatants.
Authorities said operations remain underway to eliminate remaining threats and secure affected areas.
