ISLAMABAD: Minister of Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, said on Tuesday that Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have long-standing historical, religious, and cultural ties, as well as strong relations on a variety of fronts, including economy and trade.
According to a news release, he expressed these views while talking with the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf Bin Said Al-Malki, who called on him here.
Finance Minister informs Saudi ambassador about govt’s plans
The minister informed the ambassador about the government’s plans and programs with the goal of bringing economic prosperity to the country through the upcoming budget. He also praised the ambassador for Saudi Arabia’s important economic and financial support to Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, the Saudi envoy reciprocated the two countries’ long-term relationship and stressed the Kingdom’s desire to develop economic and commercial ties with Pakistan.
