ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Commerce Syed Naveed Qamar on Thursday stressed the need to expand cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the fields of investment and trade.
Ambassador and Commercial Attache of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed A. Almalkiy called on the minister here in Islamabad. Both discussed matters of mutual interest and agreed to increase the volume of bilateral trade between the two countries.
Increased trade stressed
Qamar emphasized the need for close economic relations and increased trade between the two Muslim brotherly countries.
He appreciated the Saudi embassy in Islamabad and said it was doing its utmost efforts to promote the financial bilateral ties. He expressed his gratitude to Almaliky for his efforts in this regard.
The Saudi ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the existing level of bilateral economic cooperation and also showed his desire to further expand it to all sectors.
The duo agreed to continue their efforts to further consolidate economic ties and explore new areas of exploration.
